In the context of the project EBEDinEU we planned and announced for the autumn 2009 the beginning of a systematic advanced training for qualified directors of bibliodrama and directors of Ignatian exercises. The aims were: to make known and to test ways and patterns, how spiritual exercises and bibliodrama can be referred to one another.

Despite all support by diocesan departments for spiritual exercises, by houses for retreat, by the European Bibliodrama Network etc. we did not get financial help from the European-Union-program "Lifelong Learning ". So for the time being we must give up the plan of a systematic and special advanced training with the goal of development of new patterns on the one hand and quality management on the other hand.

We will pursue the request in the following way:
- by workshops on European level, in which it is tried to interconnect bibliodrama and spiritual exercises as well as to reflect at the same time this connection. The last workshop of this kind took place as an "ignatian and bibliodramatic experiment" Nov. 1st - 5th 2009 in Tahi (Hungary) Final Report
- by integration of this topic into the current advanced trainings for directors of Ignatian exercises
- by reference to the book by Eckhard Frick and Margret Fühles: Schöpferisch im Spiel vor Gott. Bibliodrama und Exerzitien, Ignatianische Impulse 36, Echter 2009. Eur 9,20, more…
